Discourse also use Meta for its community forum. I know the meaning of meta in dictionary.

Wikipedia: Meta (from the Greek preposition and prefix meta- (μετά-) meaning "after", or "beyond") is a prefix used in English to indicate a concept which is an abstraction from another concept, used to complete or add to the latter.

But I van't find its relationship with forums?!

I dare to assume that the generic use of "meta" is derived from the gaming scene as both dev and design scene are commonly well linked with gaming. To this end, meta is a common term since eSports became a thing and usually describes a self-referential level of abstraction. Hence in your case talking about the subject, which is a subject itself, so you are one level "meta" ;)

I'd also go so far and call it a fad, but it may stay like "hacking" established as a common term for workarounds.

Usually means "about the thing itself". For example, this is a Telescope site for discussion about Telescope. And the Discourse forum is a Discourse forum about Discourse forums.
